ONLY 18 km to Bundaberg CBD, Elliott Heads is a small seaside village located on the northern waters of Hervey Bay. It has a primary school, general store, caravan park, bowls club and tennis club. Lifesavers patrol the white sandy beach on weekends and holiday periods. Kitesurfing, sailboarding and kayaking are popular inside the river mouth. The population stretches along the foreshore and it’s an easy flat walk on the “walk and cycle” path to the waterfront for rock fishing, snorkeling, spearfishing and scuba diving.
